[ Folks. We're not doing great. He did get a wash in compared to yesterday so he's not so bloody, although he can't do anything about his Midsommar robe... but he's just somewhere outside in the shade, rubbing the bridge of his nose, away from most people.
[ It's a new day and the surroundings look creepy as ever no matter what time of day it is, supposedly. Pickles has been sniffing around the area and eventually finds Daan, trotting over to him. Hello, tired man. He doesn't bark, but he does make a sound that almost sounds concerned as he tilts his head. ]
Guess Daan has to eat at some point. So he does end up going to the refectory at some point, but when there's the least amount of people around -- preferably zero, but hey.
So you just get this one dude in a blanket sitting far off in a corner picking away at his sad sad garbage food. At some point, he just stops, and puts his head in his hand. This really is going to be how it is for a while. ]
Pickles has a little device comfortably hanging off a strap around his neck and he goes to lightly nudge Daan's... leg? Back? Wherever he can reach with his snoot to try and get his attention with a whine. ]
[ It's a friend... he glances down, a little started by the sudden touch, but easing when he sees who it is. ]
Good day...
[ Or a bad one. You might be able to see a bit of writing where the blanket doesn't cover, especially down low around his legs, reading things like RITUAL and UNKNOWN GOD. ]
[ Pickles sees those words forming on the legs and ponders for a moment before whining a little. If Daan's hand is within reach, he'll give it a small lick. mlem. ]
[ God hate having to write W1 like what do you mean it's still W1 somehow. I have never felt this feeling so hard before in my life. Anyway it's sorta-post mini-event and they're getting away from all the maypole celebrations. The tea is doing little tea things, whispering too-cheerful things in his head, but being away from the crazed dance and laughter seems to help him a little bit. ]
[ Pickles the human keeps an eye out for Daan to check on him occasionally as he walks by his side. He's concerned for him despite being a little high himself. Concern definitely overrides whatever else he feels at the moment. ]
The air here... it feels nice to breathe. Do you think so?
[ His fur still has a lot of white patches and his indigo eyes still look dead, but at least there's no blood on him anymore, thanks to Yuffie cleaning him up. Doggie is still around his neck and it's also clean.
He hasn't spoken to most people or acted candidly, but when he sees Daan, his tail wags twice and then stops. That's the most happiness he has shown to anyone the entire day. ]
I guess I will put Daan at one of the new ones namely the Rainforest Cafe because it's funny. He's looking perplexed by it all, and you can feel it through emotionshare. It's a big old 'what in the world is this' sort of energy. ]
...Stuff here is pretty varied and colourful, huh... I'd argue it's better than what we had over there, if anything.
[ Pickles would also have those vibes, except he's just... used to whatever the fuck appears in the graveyard now, so he's mostly intrigued by those underwater species that clearly do not belong in a fishtank. He looks up over at Daan. ]
Woof.
[ The puppy says that in a death, being here is a little freeing. ]
[ Having to die sucks but. Sure? At least you get all of this, and you definitely don't feel very dead being here. He looks in one of the tanks. He's not a biologist, he can't tell what belongs here and doesn't outside of the glaringly obvious. ]
How's your time here been? Given you've been here a while.
WKND0, saturday
He looks like he hasn't slept well. ]

I was right about the book being bad news.

From a respectful distance. ]
Saw them yesterday but up close... they really are large.
[ Farm animals are actually terrifying up close. ]

[ Pickles doesn't mind farm animals, but it looks like he's keeping a distance from Dani, the other dog. ]

Border collies are usually shepherding dogs, right? You don't feel it much in your blood?
[ This is mostly a joke, he doesn't actually expect Pickles to agree to it. Somethign something not beholden to blood and all that.
He glances between Pickles and the other dog on the farm. ]
...Looks like we're pretty fond of dogs.
[ With Ser Snuffles, that makes three. ]

I'll take it over the front, or Prehevil, but I don't know. I think it's the tea they made me drink as penalty.
...Can't have anything nice around here, I guess...
