It's natural to react badly as a response to pain and fear. Everyone does. I've seen it of course, plenty of it on the front -- shell shock, they call it.

[ Pickles is willing to move, so he gets up to get a hug. He may be cold and uncomfortable to hug, but Pickles appreciates it all the time. Dogs don't cry like humans do out of emotions, but there is the occasional high pitched whines when they cry at you. ]
[ THIS IS SO SAD!!! Daan is really no good at this but. Gods. He just pats and rubs Pickles's back and lets him grieve it out. There there...
Their poor dog... he'll just stay like this until Pickles feels better and can rest, and probably Daan has left to check up again on other injured when curfew hit. ]
