The camp office, named Doyle House after the founding family, serves as the liaison between the normal outside world and the hellacious two month summer stay in the heart of the wild. Inside is a large desk with an old rotary phone (which unsurprisingly doesn’t work) and stacks of papers and folders–supply inventory, a map of the lake camp, and a list of campers: Kaitlyn, Jacob, Emma, Nick, Ryan, Dylan, Abigail, Laura, and Max.
He stops to look at the list of names and the map, but looks unenthused by it.
