Some people like the lit aspects, all the things that reflect light. The hidden traits, though. Darker desires, wishes, thoughts. Not so much.
There's relationships, and there's relationships. The desire to be known intimately, and accepted for all that you are.
It's a high bar, isn't it. You tell yourself it's easier to be alone, and sometimes it is, but not always. It's just what it is, coming and going just like everything else.
