[she mostly just looks like she feels ill. the emotions are confusion and that sort of sense of unreality, like she's having a hard time remembering which parts of her life are the real one.
but she does take tulip, and she does hug the dog, tucking it under her chin.]
... You don't remember. [she says, absently.] We're part of the Society of Exorcists. Getting rid of demons. The fake humans, the Relivers. We were - I was doing the right thing.
[ JUST. OK. LET'S GET YOU TO BED GRANDMA. He's internally debating whether this is Kanda's world or Virche world. I know, from my other PC, that it was Virche world but he's still wondering here. ]
No, I just saw him over on that side. Welcoming the other half of your group, presumably, if the pattern's been holding consistently. He seems healthy and uninjured.
Will you stay, a bit? [he knows this about her, by now, that she doesn't like to be alone. but she really does not want to be alone in this room, specifically, because she's staring across it at something that isn't there.]
[ He follows her line of sight to the spot, just to make sure there isn't something actually there, and then nods. Is there a chair, if there's a chair he'll pull one over and sit down. Otherwise it's on the edge of her bed I guess. ]
Want a Rubik's Cube? Pickles gave it to me quite early on. Told me it's a good distraction to have a mental exercise. I think it's effective.
[did i ever link her room, it looks sort of like this but with a bed big enough for her and another person, plus a little chair and desk set up. oh, and all the windows are violently cracked today.
he can pull a chair over and settle, yeah. she can't quite drag her eyes away from the corner, mumbling to herself. it sounds vaguely like what a prayer should sound like.]
[ He produces it for her. It's the stupid all-beige coloured thing he's been toting around for weeks. ]
...I'm told that usually they come in a wider array of colours, but the golem's ability can only create in a similar colour as the surface that's drawn on. You match the sides so they're all the same shade, see.
[she looks back down at the cube, and absently turns some of the sides.
there's a sense of comfort that she feels because of that. it's enough to balance out the guilt and sorrow she's feeling, make it a little more manageable.]
... You were there. But you never did anything horrible. You were just nice to me. [she says, eyes on the cube.]
[she makes a face at him, but there's amusement, there.
as for the rest of it, she pulls her blanket a little closer. a faint nauseated feeling settles in the air, and she's squinting at him, like it hurts to have her eyes open.]
Don't know. It was fucking intense. Took all of my pain away, made me not care about anything.

a beat, and she looks at the familiar stuffed dog, and gets a little teary... but like, in a good way.]
... Okay. Hi. [she sounds less spacey, at this, at least.] You didn't get hurt? You were... I lost track of you after Nehan died.

[ Coming closer now that he is convinced she won't just like... withdrawal snap, handing Tulip over to her. ]
Feel up for sharing what all you saw?

Should I call over Boothill? You know Boothill.

Killed him. Put an axe through his spine.
[ok but he WAS alive and he did punch a whole fish tank for you so maybe be less hallucinating about it]
no subject
[ Of course you did. It's always fucking like this. ]
He's alive, Karlach. Went crazy and broke the fishtank to get you all out, carried you to the healing springs.

there's a shiver of guilt that runs through her, as she stares at daan, and then:]
... I do remember that. [vaguely.] Suguru isn't either? He didn't die.

Killed him, too. Ripped his heart out of his chest. [...] Aqua. Iwatooshi. Marina, Lucas, Aerith. Izutsumi.
no subject
...I had to kill a couple people, too. Pickles. Elise. Laudna.
[ And a couple of other faces, some of who he wasn't that familiar with, but that's neither here nor there. ]
All of those people are still here and around. We got Aerith and Izutsumi patched up. They're alright.
no subject
M'sorry.
[that he had to. but hey, at least the both know what it's like to have to kill their friends repeatedly. misery and company and all that.]
Izutsumi killed me. Kind of a mercy thing. M'glad they're okay.

[ Just standing by her. ]
It's going to be rough at first, but it'll get better. Anything I can get you in the meantime?

A... what cube? [that's not a no!]
no subject
Rubik's Cube. It's a puzzle cube, essentially.
[ He produces it for her. It's the stupid all-beige coloured thing he's been toting around for weeks. ]
...I'm told that usually they come in a wider array of colours, but the golem's ability can only create in a similar colour as the surface that's drawn on. You match the sides so they're all the same shade, see.

she glances over, finally. one hand comes out and takes it, if he's offering.
she keeps her eyes firmly on the cube, mumbling apologies to geto under her breath, mixed with those prayers.]
Not sure if I'm smart enough for this. [it's the lamest joke in the world, but hey.]
no subject
Neither am I, but the nice thing is that you don't have to be. You'll get to the solution eventually as long as you pick up the cube and keep trying.
[ Ignoring the prayers. You really got Christian'd by the Virches. ]
no subject
That's almost motivational. [faint, faint amusement.]

Even in all-beige blocks.

Is that a good thing?

[her tail swishes on the bed.]
I came back every night and you and I just sat and talked. [...] I was really high every time though.

[ Vague self-deprecating joke, not serious. ]
You look like you haven't had a fix. What did they give you?
[ Looking her over. Trying to figure out if a painkiller would be good enough. ]
