I'm absolutely with you, meds. There's some Gods that care about their people, but Mystra's not one of them. She's too far, too distant. Gale just can't see it because she's dangling a carrot in his face.

He deserves better than her. Someone who actually cares about him and not just what he can give.

Although by the way you say it, it sounds like she's an active correspondent trying to lure him... that's exceptionally rare where I come from.

There's communes and things with Gods in Faerun, but I haven't heard many cases like Gale.

You're not wrong. It's Gale's story to tell, but... [big sigh.] It's bad. Working with Gods, demons, devils, any of them on a personal level - all that happens is you get fucked over. You lose your heart.
