I think that's still considered the preferable plan. Certainly at the least, over voting out someone completely innocent.

Except we don't wanna vote for someone with a partner if they're afflicted, and it's cool if multiple afflicted are running around killing.... 'cause if too many of us die then the cult will get suspicious and then we'll probably all die.

Yes, due to the nature of their partnership... we'd ideally like to handle it in a way that allows for partners to be able to reconnect later instead. With the mental distortion that seems to come sometimes with said affliction, it's possible a still-possessed person may try to use that to their advantage even.

I wouldn't say we're "cool" with it though. It's still pretty bad.

And yeah, it's not like I don't get it! Especially the partner thing. But we still have afflicted people around.
